Voter Protection Program Associate at Democratic Party of Georgia

About the Role:

The Voter Protection Program Associate will support the Democratic Party of Georgia’s voter protection programming by working to recruit and engage a robust team of volunteers who will serve as poll watchers, hotline volunteers, ballot monitors and count observers, vote review panelists, ballot cure volunteers, and other volunteer roles. This role reports to the Deputy Voter Protection Director for Programs.

Requirements:

• One cycle of campaign experience preferred, but not required.
• Passionate about electing Democrats at every level of the ticket in Georgia.
• Strong lens and judgment on issues of race and equity, with emphasis on voter suppression’s disproportionate impact on communities of color.
• Highly organized; able to work independently and problem solve.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to new skills, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Votebuilder preferred.
