Senior Associate / Counsel at Evergreen Legal Strategies

About the Role:

The Senior Associate / Counsel will work with Evergreen Legal Strategies to craft and lead litigation and legal strategies that advance social impact campaigns, including democracy protection. This role involves developing new litigation ideas, managing ongoing cases, crafting regulatory and public-facing legal content, coordinating with external partners, and staying up-to-date on legal and policy developments.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership required.
• Minimum of four years of experience in law firms, government, federal clerkship, or nonprofit/public interest work.
• Litigation experience strongly preferred; knowledge of constitutional and administrative law is a plus.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and editing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to translate complex legal concepts for diverse audiences.
• Ability to think creatively to address complex legal and policy issues.
• Experience in project management and coordinating with external partners.
