About the Role:

The Regional Political Director will support young progressive candidates running for federal and state offices. This role works closely with the Executive Director and a Regional Finance Director to oversee political operations in multiple targeted campaigns within a specific region. Responsibilities include collaborating with campaigns on strategy, organizing, communications, and fundraising, building relationships with regional political organizations, recruiting top-tier campaign staff, and providing strategic recommendations to LWD leadership.

Requirements:

• At least one cycle of campaign management at the congressional level or equivalent experience.
• Highly skilled in written and verbal communication.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently while following strategic guidelines.
• Comfortable with late-night work sessions, weekend projects, and occasional travel across the country (0–7 days per month).
• Dedication to electing young progressives and advancing the progressive agenda.
• Proactive communicator capable of giving feedback respectfully and effectively.
