Ohio Regional Finance Director at Friends of Sherrod Brown

About the Role:

Friends of Sherrod Brown is seeking an Ohio Regional Finance Director to join the fundraising team of a top-tier Senate race. The director will report to the Deputy Finance Director and work closely with the in-state fundraising team.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team. This role focuses on donor outreach, fundraising events, and regional finance planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and execute the Regional Finance Plan.
• Follow up on donor calls, including pledge emails, letters, and phone calls.
• Manage and execute fundraising events in assigned regions.
• Identify donor prospects within your region.
• Write event and meeting briefings for the Senator.
• Collaborate with the Call Time Manager to meet regional call time needs and ensure call sheets are timely and accurate.

Qualifications:

• One or two cycles of fundraising experience.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in managing donor and prospect data or ability to quickly learn data and project management systems.
• Ability to respond promptly to time-sensitive needs from the principal and team.

Compensation:

Salary: $6,000 per month
