Campaign Overview

Tim Flaherty is running for Cambridge City Council to bring a working-class, community-centered voice to City Hall. Our campaign is focused on connecting directly with voters, listening to their concerns, and building a strong grassroots movement.

Position Overview

We are hiring motivated Field Organizers / Canvassers to help us identify and engage voters across Cambridge. You’ll be part of the team on the ground, knocking doors, having one-on-one conversations, and representing Tim in neighborhoods throughout the city.

Responsibilities

• Knock doors and talk with voters across Cambridge to share Tim’s message and identify supporters.
• Accurately record voter contact results using campaign tech tools.
• Attend team trainings and daily check-ins.
• Represent the campaign in a positive, professional way at all times.
• Meet daily and weekly voter contact goals.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, respectful approach to voter contact.
• Willingness to walk outdoors and knock on doors for several hours at a time.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Commitment to electing Tim Flaherty and improving Cambridge for all residents is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Previous canvassing, community organizing, or campaign experience is a plus, but not required.

Details

The schedule is flexible: 3-5 days per week through Election Day.

Hourly pay is $15–$22, based on experience and availability. Training and support will be provided.
